Azule Color intersifier (0.5 ltr)

Azule Color Intensifier is a resin-based impregnating agent for cement tiles. It is a colorless impregnating agent that gives a silk gloss effect and is intended for wet areas. It deepens the color and structure of cement tiles and makes them water, oil and dirt repellent.

Good to know
You use Color Intensifier in wet areas such as the bathroom and outdoors. You use it as a second impregnating agent, after Azule Tile Sealant and therefore after grouting the tiles.
Always close the cap of the packaging in time. This product contains solvents. If the product is left uncapped for too long, this will adversely affect the product's performance! After opening, it has a shelf life of 1 year in a cool and dry place.

How do you use the Color Intensifier?
Make sure the tiles are clean and dry and that they have already been treated at least once with Azule Tile Sealant. Color Intensifier is a resin and dries quickly. Therefore, take no more than 10 tiles at a time and spread a thin layer of Color Intensifier evenly with the impregnation pad or lacquer roller. Rub up all that is left with a lint-free cloth. Repeat this process 1 more time to make sure the tiles are properly sealed. Allow the tiles to dry for 24 hours before walking on them.

Matte or gloss?
Color Intensifier has a silk gloss effect on cement tiles. Do you prefer to maintain the natural matte effect? Then rub out the Color Intensifier immediately after application as described in the previous step. Do you want to create a gloss effect on the tiles? Then just roll the tiles in with Color Intensifier and let this layer cure. The downside to this is that at some point you will start to see a walkway on the tiles. This will be visible where the tiles are walked on the most. Old impregnation layers can be removed with Azule Losefix.

Stains or a sticky floor?
Do you have stains or a sticky floor? Then the Color Intensifier was not applied fast enough or not evenly enough. The resin has dried too fast and this results in a sticky layer on the tiles. No worries! Take some Azule Tile Sealant (the basic impregnating agent that contains a lot of solvent) and roll it onto the sticky tiles. Let this soak in for up to 20 seconds on the tile. Then immediately scrub it out with a lint-free cloth. The resin has become liquid again because of the Tile Sealant and by removing it quickly you remove all the excess from the tiles. After sufficient drying time, the wall or floor is ready for use! If in doubt, consult our helpdesk!

Suitable for
Only tiles that are porous, like cement tiles or other natural stones like marble, need to be impregnated. Depending on the color and area of the tile in which they are placed, we recommend using this agent. 
Glazed tiles (with the exception of craquelé tiles) do not need to be impregnated. You can find the complete treatment schedule for cement tiles on our website.
