Ceramic tilesModern and practical
Ceramic floor and wall tiles with the look of marble, concrete or metal — but without the hassle. Sourced from the leading tile countries Spain and Italy.
The versatile tile for every interior
At Designtegels.nl you will find an extensive range of ceramic floor and wall tiles that are ideal for use in your kitchen, bathroom or hallway. These tiles are designed with a natural look and convincingly imitate materials such as marble, concrete and metal. Thanks to advanced production techniques, they are barely distinguishable from the real thing.
You do not need to seal the tiles, they are easy to install and low-maintenance. And that is what makes these tiles unique and versatile! They lend themselves to combining with a Moroccan or Spanish wall tile — a calm base with an eye-catching wall. This way you easily create a space with atmosphere and personality. Can you already picture them in your kitchen or bathroom?
Production of ceramic tiles
Our ceramic tiles from Spain and Italy combine craftsmanship, innovation and design. Thanks to advanced production techniques, the tiles get razor-sharp designs and the appearance of natural materials such as natural stone and terrazzo, with the ease of use of ceramics. Many ceramic tiles are designed by leading designers from Spain and Italy. They combine the latest trends with timeless design and sustainable quality.
The production process starts with carefully shaping clay. The tile is then fired into a strong base, also known as the "biscuit".
Advanced printers apply patterns and colours to the tile. This creates razor-sharp designs with the appearance of, for example, natural stone or terrazzo.
After decoration, the tiles are further finished and checked for quality. This makes them strong, easy to maintain and suitable for daily use.
