Delivery
At Designtegels.nl, tiles from all over the world arrive on a constant basis. Shipments from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Morocco and Vietnam are unloaded daily. Sometimes entire containers are already reserved and orders can be prepared immediately to leave the warehouse. Has your order arrived? We will contact you as soon as possible to schedule a delivery or collection appointment. Although tiles are packed with care, they are heavy and fragile — shipments are therefore only sent via a carrier (pallet transport). You can also collect your order from our locations in Breda or Utrecht. Read below which options apply to your order.
Home delivery
Want your tiles delivered at home? No problem! However, this does not work like a standard parcel delivery. Our tiles are fragile and can therefore only be delivered by pallet transport. This means your order will be delivered by a large truck.
We work with various carriers who deliver your order to the door. Once your order is complete you will receive an email from us in which you can schedule a delivery appointment. This is a day appointment. The carrier draws up a schedule the night before delivery and sends a time indication on the morning of delivery. Designtegels.nl has no influence over this.
Pick up in Breda
Of course you can also collect your order yourself! Our warehouse in Breda is located directly behind our showroom and is easy to reach. The warehouse opening hours are the same as the showroom, so you can easily plan your visit.
Once your order is complete and ready for collection, you will receive an email from us inviting you to schedule a collection appointment. In Breda we have a forklift available to load larger or heavier orders into a van in one go. Please note: this service is only available on weekdays.
Please be aware that orders can be stored in our warehouse for a maximum of 14 days. If your order remains longer, we will unfortunately be forced to charge storage fees. To avoid this, we recommend scheduling a collection appointment in good time.

Pick up in Utrecht
Our Utrecht showroom does not have a warehouse, but does have a small storage space where we can prepare smaller orders for collection.
Orders are gathered in Breda once a week and transported to our Utrecht showroom. Because storage space is limited, this option is only available for orders up to a certain weight, and we ask that you collect them as soon as possible. There is no forklift or pallet truck available, so you will need to load the order into your vehicle yourself. We also charge €10 in transport costs for this option.
Once your order is complete, we will contact you to arrange a collection time. This may take a little longer as transport to Utrecht only happens once a week.
Sending or collecting samples
For all our products it is also possible to order a sample. The sample can be delivered via DHL for €8.95 or collected free of charge in Breda or Utrecht. We usually ship the next day and you will receive a DHL Track & Trace code. Collection in Breda is possible from the next working day. If you choose to collect in Utrecht, you will be notified when the sample is ready, which can take up to one week.
